Everything you need to know about clothing rails

The clothing rails used in storage facilities and shopping outlets need to be made with the durable materials and craftsmanship that will let them withstand constant movement and use.

They are designed to not only keep clothes from becoming tangled while being stored in warehouses, but also to display them attractively in shops.

Built to last

Clothes rails often carry large numbers of garments and are moved frequently, sometimes taking accidental blows in the process. That’s why we make them with tubular steel parts that have been coated to guarantee that they are ultra-hardwearing. The casters attached to each rail for easy movement are made of firm rubber and will not buckle under any weight.

Types of rails

There are a number of different clothing rails you can purchase, depending on your needs. These include:

Split-level rails – these feature two different levels on one frame, so that shorter and longer items of clothing can be displayed or stored on the same one
Two-tier rails – these models come with a mid-bar for hanging that can be moved to different heights on the main frame, depending on the length of the garments to be hung on them
Z-style rails – these are designed for hanging and moving sizeable and weighty quantities of clothes. Alongside the four casters, they are fitted with handles to make moving them less arduous
Seven-tier rails – most often used to temporarily hang garments that have been returned to a retail outlet, these have multiple bars for draping clothes on
Easi-store rails – these rails fit together in a stack when they are not being used, making them perfect for outlets where space is more limited

In-house manufacturing

All stages of manufacturing our steel rails take place at our Manchester headquarters. We have teams of trained designers and metalworkers and can make adjustments to any of our range to ensure they meet your requirements. Completely bespoke clothing rails can also be created for your storage space or shop if none of the main range is quite what you need.

To find out if we have what you are looking for, a visit to your store or warehouse with samples of our rails can be arranged easily. Once we have seen your facility first hand, coming up with the ideal custom rails will be even simpler.

At Steely Products, we are a family firm that has been successfully supplying top range clothing rails since 1970. Use the contact form below to get in touch or place an order now.
