Terms and Conditions of Sale
These Terms and Conditions govern all sales made by the “Seller” Steely Products Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”) to the customer (“you”, “your”) via our website. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by the following terms:
- General
1.1 These Terms and Conditions apply to all sales of goods and services by us to you.
1.2 We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. The latest version will be available on our website.
- Products and Orders
2.1 All product descriptions, specifications, and prices are provided in good faith.
2.2 Orders are subject to acceptance and availability.
2.3 We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order without prior notice.
- Pricing and Payment Terms
3.1 All prices are shown in GBP (£) and exclude VAT unless otherwise stated.
3.2 Payment must be made in full before dispatch unless you hold an approved credit account.
3.3 For approved account holders, payment is due by the 28th of the month following the invoice date.
3.4 We reserve the right to charge interest at 1.5% per month above the current UK base rate on overdue accounts until full payment is received.
- Discrepancies
4.1 Any discrepancies relating to the goods or invoicing must be reported in writing within 7 days of receipt.
4.2 We cannot accept liability for any discrepancies reported after this period.
- Directors’ Guarantee
5.1 The directors of any company, customer, or client agree that they are jointly and severally liable for all costs related to goods or services ordered.
5.2 This includes consequential losses and damages. Directors further agree to personally pay any outstanding sums due upon demand.
- Delivery
6.1 For Online orders, delivery within mainland UK is normally £65.00 for each order placed.
6.2 Additional Carriage charges will often apply to custom products or discounted bulk purchases as quoted.
6.3 Where a supplier charges us for packaging or delivery on special orders, this charge will be passed on to you.
6.4 We reserve the right to charge for additional postage, packaging, and carriage on:
- Deliveries outside of our standard delivery area,
- For large bulky items,
- Premium delivery service, inc same-day, and timed.
6.5 Part deliveries will be sent as soon as stock becomes available and invoiced separately unless we are instructed otherwise.
- Returns and Refunds
7.1 Returns must be made within 14 days of receipt and goods must be in original condition and packaging.
7.2 All return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer, and items must be returned to our Manchester factory.
7.3 A 25% restocking fee applies to all eligible returned items.
7.4 Customised or specially made products are non-refundable and cannot be returned.
- Faulty or Damaged Goods
8.1 Faulty or damaged goods must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.
8.2 We will arrange a replacement, repair, or refund in line with your statutory rights.
- Intellectual Property
9.1 All designs, drawings, products, and content created by us remain the intellectual property of Steely Products Limited.
9.2 Reproduction, copying, or imitation of our products, designs, or branding—whether in full or in part—is strictly prohibited.
9.3 We take infringement seriously and will take legal action against any individual or company found to be using or replicating our intellectual property without written permission.
- Title to Goods
10.1 The property in the goods shall remain vested in the Seller and shall not pass to the Buyer until the Buyer has made full payment of the purchase price.
10.2 While title remains with the Seller, the Seller reserves the right to retake possession of the goods at any time and may enter the Buyer’s premises for this purpose.
10.3 Notwithstanding the above, risk in the goods passes to the Buyer at the point of delivery, and the Buyer is responsible for their safekeeping thereafter.
- Limitation of Liability
11.1 Our total liability shall not exceed the price of the goods sold.
11.2 We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special losses.
- Governing Law
12.1 These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
12.2 All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
