Crew Clothing has announced a partnership with the Rugby Football Union (RFU) to supply formal uniforms for the Red Rose women’s team and staff.

The design of the uniform has not yet been revealed but it is rumoured to be a style that blends modern trends with craftsmanship and heritage like other Crew Clothing garments. The uniform is expected to be worn first at next year’s Guinness Women’s Six Nations tournament.

Alex Teasdale, Executive Director of the Women’s Game at the RFU, said:

“We’re really proud that the Red Roses are galvanizing support in this way and showing that women’s rugby is an attractive proposition for brands. We’re grateful to Crew for another brilliant show of support for women’s sport and for choosing women’s rugby.”

The Red Roses have had a highly successful year so far and are favourites to win the Women’s Rugby World Cup in 2025.

In July 2024, Crew Clothing reported that ecommerce sales had increased by 18% and retail store income by 5% compared to the previous year. The company plans to increase its range of clothing for men, women and children, filling their warehouse heavy duty garment rails with clothing inspired by sporting traditions.

A significant driver of the company’s success is partnerships with high-profile sports activities including, LTA, Exeter Chiefs, Henley Royal Regatta and Williams Racing.

Crew Clothing’s Head of Marketing, Naomi Parry, said that the partnership with Red Rose is part of Crew Clothing’s unwavering commitment to support excellence in British Sport.
