Crew Clothing continues UK expansion with new stores

20/05/2024 by Katrina

British fashion brand Crew Clothing opened its latest new store in Canterbury this May. This follows the opening of a new shop in East Grinstead in February 2024, as well as the new Eastbourne shop in December 2023.

The Head of Marketing at Crew Clothing, Naomi Parry said:

“We’re delighted to be announcing a brand new store this spring, at what is an exciting period for the brand.”

Whilst some high street fashion brands are struggling to remain profitable, Crew Clothing is thriving both in retail outlets and online. The company has several partnerships including the Hinkley Royal Regatta, with which they have collaborated on a new occasion clothing line that celebrates the “Summer of Sport”. The heavy duty garment rails in the Crew Clothing warehouse are filled with the new Crew Clothing Spring and Summer ’24 collection, which features floral contemporary dresses for women and varsity inspired blazers for men.

Crew Clothing has worked with social agency Nest and traffic conversion experts Wunderkind to analyse customer data which was used to develop an online marketing strategy that raised the company’s profile on social media and improved the conversion of web visitors to paying customers. The company has also implemented a new email marketing program to increase sales.

When Crew Clothing was founded, they had one windsurfing shop in Salcombe that sold clothes influenced by the coast. There are now 106 Crewe Clothing shops in the UK, although the company continues to design garments inspired by the beach and the ocean.
