It is able to run scenarios based on customer forecasts, combining predictions with actual production records. The system tracks projected volumes against warehouse activity, providing a complete picture that is used to modify the warehouse operations for optimal performance.
The International Standards Organization (ISO) is researching how to develop digital twins technology into a mature tool that is straightforward to use and cost-effective for mass use.
