01/11/2017 by admin

With Black Friday and Christmas right around the corner, the race by retailers for adequate warehousing space is in full swing. An increasing number of High Street and online retailers are on the search for extra warehousing space in order to complete their customers’ orders.

LogistCompare is an innovative way to link warehouse providers who have spare space, with the e-commerce and retail customers who are looking for extra sotrage.

With demands for space fluctuating between seasons, it is not always viable for a retailer to have a permanent warehousing solution. This free, new service offers a selection warehousing providers, including the costing, which can be temporarily rented. By entering the location, size of area, type and budget, the service suggests a range of warehouses the customer can then choose from. This offers a solution for warehouses that want to fill space currently standing empty.

Managing Director of LogistCompare, Serafin Valente, says of the free service:

“Retailers look for warehousing space often with short notice to cover seasonal demands and finding the right space at the right price can be challenging. Our portal is a free service offering retailers a platform to reach out to warehouse providers. This on-demand service means warehouses now can advertise their free space in real time and interact directly with potential clients.”

Whether a retailer is looking for extra space for pick and pack tables, ecommerce tables or straight forward storage facilities, solutions like this may be mutually beneficial for both retailers and warehouse providers.
